This program, a subset of the Supporting Young Professionals in Public Health to Thrive initiative, is a clarion call to young, passionate individuals ready to make their mark in the field of public health.

Vision and Mission of the DEAL Fellowship

Aims and Objectives:

1. Building Strategic Leadership: The DEAL Fellowship aims to foster a generation of young leaders adept in design-thinking and strategic decision-making within the realm of public health.

2. Advancing Universal Health Coverage: By nurturing a new breed of professionals who understand the imperative of universal health coverage, the Fellowship aims to drive progress towards equitable health care access for all.

3. Strengthening Health Systems: Through capacity-building initiatives, the Fellowship seeks to empower young professionals to enhance health system capacity and improve service delivery across the West African sub-region.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Innovative Thinkers: Applicants must demonstrate the ability to think innovatively and outside the box, showcasing their creativity and problem-solving skills during the interview process.

2. Educational Background and Experience: Candidates should possess a minimum of a first degree with five years of work experience, or a master's degree with three years of work experience in the field of public health.

3. Age Range: Applicants must be between the ages of 30 and 40 years at the time of application.

4. Leadership Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and coordinate activities are essential qualities for prospective DEAL Fellows.
